Cranbourne Bowling Club

Redesign and development of Cranbourne Bowling Club in 2010 to bring it in line with new standards and incorporate the use of a blog in the site for their news and bulletins.

Irish Famine Memorial

Working with Professor Trevor McClaughlin during 2007 we developed the Irish Famine Memorial site for the Irish Famine Memorial monument in Hyde Park Barracks, Sydney. I also developed a guide for the Great Irish Famine Memorial Group so they could continue to maintain the site themselves.

I was presented by the Irish Consul-General in Sydney, Mr Patrick Scullion with a beautiful Claddagh brooch for the work on the site.

Macquarie University

During my employment with Macquarie University I worked as one of the developers on the OUA (now Open Learning Australia) project. As part of this project I worked on the following units for the 'Bachelor of Arts':

Melbourne Rope Quoits Association

Initial development and maintenance of the site for the Melbourne Rope Quoits Association in 2001. Redesign of the site in 2010 to bring it in line with new standards and incorporate the use of a blog in the site for updating of results by the MRQAInc. The Melbourne Rope Quoits Association Inc. is a non profit club.

AOC - Aspin Online Consulting

Initial development of the AOC web site for Aspin Online Consulting in 2003.

Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE

During my time with Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE I developed the following projects.

ACDATA - Introduction to Databases Using Access 2000

The development of the ACDATA content was completed using flash. The units were developed to be interactive and support online delivery to a company.

Series 5

In 2001 - 2002 the Office of Training and Tertiary Education (OTTE) funded the Series 5 projects. I was the developer for the Online Team and was responsible for six of the eleven units. Below are screen shots from two of the units I worked on from this series.

Certificate II in Information Technology

During 1999 with the Online Team I was the developer for the Certificate II for delivery through WebCT.

Designing Educational Web Pages

I was the writer, developer and trainer for the DEWP course. The course was designed for online delivery; piloted during 2001 using WebCT, then re-developed for direct online delivery using FirstClass.

The course was setup so that any teacher could pick up the course and deliver it by having access to all of the session plans, tutorial scripts, tutorial notes, and notices.

How To Be A Flexible Trainer

In 2001 TAFE Frontiers funded a project to develop 'How to be a flexible trainer' and How to be a flexible learner' Online content. As the developer for the Online Team, my role was to design and develop the online objects and templates used in the projects.

Online Student Support

The student support site was developed for Australian Online and Overseas students who were studying with the Online Team during 2000.

OT AUSTRALIA Victoria

In 2001 the Online Team developed a CD for OT Australia Victoria for their MentorLink program. My role in the project was to design and develop the objects and templates used throughout the CD

Role of the Editor

Developer for the unit Role of the Editor as part of the NMIT Online Teams Learnscope project.

Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training

Re-development of the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training for NMIT delivery. The re-development bought together all the units under the one shell within WebCT rather than the split focus that the original consortium was required to create. 1999-2000 I was also the developer with the consortium development for the original project.

ILCed - Hoist Workshop CD

While working for the Online Team I was the project manager, developer and trainer for this project. The project was broken into four stages. During Stage Two.

I developed and trained the ILCed's developer and content writer in creating content for online development. This coincided with fast track training the Educators in online delivery. The final outcome for the project was a CD resource that the Educators would use in online delivery.

Yooralla - Independent Living Centre

While working for the Online Team I was the project manager and developer for this project. The project was broken into four stages. Stage 1 saw the development of the Yooralla Independent Living Centre Web Site. The site was handed over to the trainee web developer after his completion of the DEWP course.

NOPD Web Site

The NOPD web site was the support and study area for students. This gave students a place to showcase work and also a resource for the course.

Students were able to view previous students work to help gain an understanding of the six month course they had undertook.

I redesigned and managed the site over a the period of time that I was a mentor and coordinator for NOPD.

Allied Health Mentorlink CD

Re-purposing of the OT AUSTRALIA CD to be used by Allied Health in their MentorLink project. I was the developer with the Online Team for the project.

We re-developed the CD with Allied Health branding and also content changes.
